Alberta Artist Pamela Bergen Fine Art & Photography
Pam Bergen is a true country girl who loves the great outdoors . Born a coal miners daughter in Alabama and raised near the coal fields of Kentucky, she now shares life with her husband Allen farming in southwestern Alberta. Pam credits her husband for enabling her to study with various internationally acclaimed artists. She is also a facilitator for art workshops. She says painting is a great source of joy, and suggested her art is a reflection of her love of the nature and her spiritual mindset.
"I love to capture the expressive movement of wildlife with my camera first and observe the animals as closely as possible. Through the time spent researching her subjects and getting to better know them, she then couples that experience and imagination to develop a finished painting that is uniquely her own. Pam works primarily in oil. However, she occasionally paints and accepts commissions in other media as well. Her art can be found in businesses and private collections in the U.S. and Canada."
About Pamela
Pamela Bergen has presently transitioned to a full-time artist, working out of her art studio in the prairies nestled next to the Rocky Mountains of Southern Alberta Canada.
"YES, IT IS TIME to put my journey on the canvas and out for the world to see!"
"I sure enjoy going out into nature to photograph my subjects and returning to the studio with the memorable experiences that are the fuel of my passion to paint."
